10" BUTCHER'S STEAK KNIFE

Handle is made from Polypropylene (PP) which is strong enough to withstand the toughest of treatment while giving the grip a comfy and slip free feel specifically engineered for the Food Industry. 
Our Hollow Ground blades are produced by using a wheel to sharpen the edges of the knife until a convex hollow is removed from both sides of the edge. This type of grind produces a very sharp edge and is the best slicer because of its thinner profile.

“Mitchell” knives are made to the highest possible standards to achieve the best quality and longevity available. Blades are made from High Carbon Stainless Steel 420J2 which is heat treated and annealed to obtain a hardness of 50-60 Rockwell. This hardness is tough enough to hold its sharp edge, yet remains soft enough to enable sharpening.

    Way Superior to Victorynox at 1/2 the price

    Bought this knife to test and I can guarantee that these knifes are better than Victorinox. This is the second time I've bought from Mitchell and they are nothing but tops, Best quality money can buy and I use knives daily Way Superior to Victorynox at 1/2 the price

    I find this knife to be really off balance compared to what I'm used to, the weight is all in the "blade end" and doesn't really suit me. Good value and sharp

    Mefe comment, Many thanks The " balance " of the knife is very much fictional and more a comparison of what you are used to. What you are saying is the blade is " heavier " than your old knife, which is testimony to the size and quality of this knife, Thanks for your comment

    Bought this as well as the 6” curved boning fibrox knife (CAT 1376FB) and I can guarantee that these knifes are better than Victorinox. This is the second time I've bought from Mitchell and they are nothing but tops.
