Payment

Payment for orders placed on this website is accepted via PayPal or Bank Transfer only.

Payment by bank transfer must be received within ten working days or your order will be cancelled.

All items are dispatched containing a Packing Slip/Tax Invoice (GST receipt in Australian Dollars).

 

Shipping

Time-frame: When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping option you have chosen. Depending on the shipping option you choose, a delivery date estimate may appear on the shipping quotes page. You will receive email confirmation of your order, including tracking and carrier information.

Cost estimate: Our online shopping cart will generate your Shipping Estimate based on total order weight. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kilogram. To view the shipping estimate, add the product/s you are looking to order to your cart. You do not need to sign up an account to get a shipping estimate.

Domestic: We offer competitive domestic shipping rates. Costs are calculated based on your location and the weight of your order. Proceed to the checkout page to calculate and select your desired shipping option. Unfortunately we do not offer a pick-up option at this time.

International customers: We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Costs are calculated based on location and the weight of your order. When you are finished choosing the products you wish to purchase proceed to the checkout page to calculate and select your desired shipping option. Please also note if you are an international customer that you may also be liable for local custom duties and taxes, these will be charged directly to you via the freight company or your national customs office. Please check your local regulations of any extra charges that may be incurred.

All parcels require a signature upon delivery.

Warranty

Mitchell Engineering Food Equipment Pty Ltd (MEFE) warrants that any goods will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years unless otherwise specified.

We reserve the right to inspect and test any returned product/s for the purpose of determining the extent of any defect and the validity of any claim made under this warranty. 

Any defective parts/products replaced by us under this warranty will be deemed to be the property of MEFE.

This warranty will not apply if the goods are rendered faulty by a factor other than a defect in materials and workmanship. Such factors include but are not limited to: damage through misuse (including failure to maintain, service or use with proper care), neglect, accident or ordinary wear and tear (including deterioration of parts and accessories and glass breakage); and use for a purpose for which the product was not sold or designed.

This warranty does not apply to consumables such as batteries, ink, filters and globes.

 

Returns Policy

Returns are accepted and we will fulfil our obligations under Australian Consumer Law. You may return most new, unopened items in original condition within 30 days of delivery. To lodge a return please contact us within 7 days of receiving your items. You will be responsible for returning the items including any and all shipping and packaging costs.

Product Warranty Issue: If you believe there is a problem with the product under warranty, please return as per our returns policy above.

Change of Mind: You may return most new, unopened items as per returns policy for a refund. We will charge a restocking fee of up to 20 % when the return is due to change of mind or buyer error.

ALL returns Please Note: Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept any returns on used items unless they have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitised. For the health and safety of our staff unclean items cannot be accepted into our warehouse. This includes items returned for servicing and repairs.

Deposits: Deposits will be used to secure the order and commence relevant production. On cancellation in this regard we will assess each case and deduct associated expenses incurred on your behalf.

 

Refunds Policy

Refunds will be processed in full as per Returns Policy, eBay returns will be refunded as per original payment. All other refunds will be paid as a store credit on account. You will be notified and credit will be immediately available to you. Cash payouts and electronic funds transfers will incur a 10% finance admin fee.
