Payment

Payment for orders placed on this website are accepted via PayPal Credit/Debit Card or Bank Transfer only.

Payment by bank transfer must be received within ten working days or your order will be cancelled.

All items are dispatched containing a Packing Slip/Tax Invoice (GST receipt in Australian Dollars).

 

Shipping

Dispatch Time: Same Day Dispatch - we will endeavour to dispatch all orders placed before 12pm on the same day

Freight Timeframe: At checkout, available couriers operating in your area will show their relevant timeframe and associated costs. We have contracted all main courier services so you should be presented with a choice of services from Australia Post, TNT Road Express, TNT Overnight, Sendle, StarTrack or FedEx.

Shipping Costs: As above, shipping costs are based on total order weight, and your location. To view the shipping cost and time frame, add product/s to your cart. Please note our point of sale is our warehouse in Clontarf Qld Australia. Shipping and freight costs exclude insurance, unless selected.

Local postcodes will have Pickup collection as an option - if you are wanting to Pickup from further afield, please change your delivery postcode to 4019 and pickup will become an option.

International Customers: We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Please note that you may also be liable for local custom duties and taxes, these will be charged directly to you via the freight company or your national customs office. Please check your local regulations of any extra charges that may be incurred.

All parcels require a signature upon delivery, unless shipping method selected is marked as Authority To Leave (ATL).

Warranty

Mitchell Engineering Food Equipment Pty Ltd (MEFE) warrants that any goods will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years unless otherwise specified.

We reserve the right to inspect and test any returned product/s for the purpose of determining the extent of any defect and the validity of any claim made under this warranty. 

Any defective parts/products replaced by us under this warranty will be deemed to be the property of MEFE.

This warranty will not apply if the goods are rendered faulty by a factor other than a defect in materials and workmanship. Such factors include but are not limited to: damage through misuse (including failure to maintain, service or use with proper care), neglect, accident or ordinary wear and tear (including deterioration of parts and accessories and glass breakage); use for a purpose for which the product was not sold or designed and cosmetic damage from shipping carriers.

This warranty does not apply to consumables such as batteries, ink, filters and globes.

 

Returns Policy

Returns are accepted and we will fulfil our obligations under Australian Consumer Law. You may return most new, unopened items in original condition within 30 days of delivery. To lodge a return please contact us within 7 days of receiving your items. We will issue you with Authority and return assessment number to be used on all future correspondence, and will include return instructions,  You will be responsible for returning the items including any and all shipping and packaging costs.

Product Warranty Issue: If you believe there is a problem with the product under warranty, please return as per our returns policy above. Damage and loss in transit is not covered under Warrantee

Change of Mind: You may return most new, unopened items as per returns policy for a credit. We will charge a restocking fee of  20% when the return is due to change of mind or buyer error.

ALL returns Please Note: Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept any returns on used items unless they have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitised. For the health and safety of our staff unclean items cannot be accepted into our warehouse. This includes items returned for servicing and repairs.

Deposits and Order Cancellation : Deposits will be used to secure the order and commence relevant production. Order Cancellations will be assessed on a case by case basis, and we will deduct associated expenses incurred.

 

Refunds Policy

All Refunds will be processed as per Returns Policy and will be paid as a store credit on account.. Cash pay-outs and electronic funds transfers will incur a (AUD) $20.00 or 10% finance admin fee, whichever is higher.
